On a beautiful Saturday morning, September 26th, an energized team of Sunrise Rotarians gathered at Petoskey’s Bayfront Park East to support the City and clean up the waterfront. Powered by Johan’s Donuts (thank you Carlin!) we worked for over an hour, spreading out from Solanus Beach to the far reaches Bayfront Park West, clearing brush, dragging driftwood, and picking up trash washed up on the rocks. Thanks to the City Parks and Rec Department and Trailways Council for trash bags and pickers, and the stylish yellow Ambassador vests. A passerby asked Zac LeJeune if we were prison workers; he explained that we were just humble Rotary volunteers.
