Camp Daggett Painting
June 9, 2001

Finally, after a few rain outs - the day came to paint the rec building.

Here Rod Niswander, Bill Brower watch as Fred DeWitt (with mask) and John Johnson help the Camp Daggett resident get the paint sprayer going.

Bill , Jim Shirilla, John (& Gene Klco-photographer) hand paint the window trim in prep for the spraying.

With the trim painted, the airless sprayers were fired up and the job moved quickly. Fred is starting on a wall - what a change!

Fred, Bill and Jim (holding ladder) watch as Rod sprays the high spots.

Of course all could not go perfectly, as the project neared completion - we ran out of paint - about 2 more gallons needed on the far wall. And sprinkles then eventually rain washed us out again - but not before we got 95% of the painting done!
If the rain didn't wash off the paint - we only need a few people and a couple hours to complete the project.

Doesn't it look GREAT!
