For the first time, the Sunrise
and the Noon Petoskey Rotary Clubs meet together for an Officer
Exchange Night. This event was held at the Petoskey Bay View
Country Club.
Registering the members
and guests were Pat Ryde from the Noon Club and Jennifer Smith
from the Sunrise Club.
Cocktails were available
and discussion with friends - both old and new were very enjoyable
in the perfect June evening.

After a wonderful steak
& shrimp dinner, the crowd turned to the presentations.
First presentations were
made to Paul Harris winners by Jim Kan & Chris Etienne.
From the Noon Club, Mike
Eberhart received the Paul Harris certificate.
And from the Sunrise
Club, Rod Niswander & Bill Brower received Paul Harris Certificates.
Then the outgoing Presidents
said a few words and passed the baton to the new presidents.
Mike Eberhart completed a successful year as President of the
Noon Rotary Club.
Dave Behling, the new
Noon Club President - challenged us all to be of service to others.
Bill Brower, the Sunrise Club past president
had to start with a joke - about golf (what else).
He also took time to
thank his board of directors that were present - Dan Rasmussen,
John Johnson, Rod Niswander, Jim Kan (and Bill).
Then to complete the
ceremony, Bill Blackburn, the new Sunrise Club President, awarded
Bill a few mementos for his efforts as president.
